In addition to developing software for utilities management, the Software Development Group also develops software to communicate with Netelek hardware. This allows Netelek to offer its customers end-to-end utilities management solutions.
Case Study 1: NetViewTM in Rural Maintenance (Pty) Ltd
Rural Maintenance has been using the NetViewTM software for more than 7 years to manage and monitor more than 10,000 meter installations. Functionality such as baseline calculation allows Rural to provide its customers with the information they need to optimize their electricity usage.
Case Study 2: NetTariffTM in Rural Maintenance (Pty) Ltd
Rural Maintenance, as part of the service offered to its customers, calculates energy costs based on tariffs set by regional authorities. NetTariffTM allows Rural to manage and use nearly 800 tariffs from 45 Authorities across South Africa. In addition to the management of complex tariff structures, NetTariffTM allows for high performance billing calculation, which is one of the keys to Rural Maintenance’s success.
